SB-DWB-20R Decoupled Wall Barrier

SB-DWB is primarily designed for retrofit applications. Expanding on the one pound per square foot mass loaded vinyl, Decoupled wall barrier has 1/4” of acoustic foam bonded to the vinyl. Sandwiching standard barrier between layers of drywall has little effect. Using Decoupled wall barrier gives the wall system the needed air space to decouple the barrier from the wall system.

SB-DWB may also be used in automotive applications. A barrier is designed to block and reflect high energy soundwaves. SB-DWB features a dense, one pound per square foot vinyl layer bonded to a durable, open cell foam.One layer is all that is required to effectively reduce the amount of road noise that enters the passenger compartment. One layer of SB-DWB is equivalent to 4-6 layers of a vibration damping sheet, SB-DWB weighs less, dramatically reduces your install time and will save you a ton of money!
